Axsara mark — four interwoven ribbons
01 — The problem

Problems we help solve

If two or more of these are true, the gap is in the system — not in effort.

The plan is agreed. Nothing moves.
Strategy lives in the deck; the operating rhythm never changed to carry it.
Pipeline looks full. Hit rate doesn’t move.
Activity is measured, qualification isn’t. Long-cycle CAPEX deals stall late.
Sales promises what operations can’t deliver.
Commitments and SLAs are negotiated in different rooms. Margin leaks in between.
Training happened. Behaviour didn’t.
No follow-through mechanism, no manager reinforcement, no review of the new standard.
Churn and renewals are managed reactively.
Contract value erodes quietly; pricing decisions are made without a governing logic.
Energy and asset performance are a cost, not a lever.
Compliance is met, consumption is unmanaged, and no one owns the savings case.
02 — The method

Our integrated framework

Four connected capabilities. You can enter at any one of them — the diagnosis decides which. What you never get is a stand-alone intervention with nothing holding it up.

Pillar 01
Capability Activation
Leadership, sales, customer experience, communication and change — taught by someone who ran them.
Leadership Development
Sales Excellence
Customer Experience
Change Management
Pillar 02
Alignment
Getting strategy, functions and the operating rhythm pointed at the same outcome before delivery starts.
Strategy-to-Execution Alignment
Cross-functional Alignment
Business Development
Strategic Advisory
Pillar 03
Performance Optimisation
Energy, built environment and productivity — measured, governed and defensible to the regulator.

Pillar 04
Execution & Transformation
Carrying the agreed change through delivery, with the review discipline that keeps it in place.
Transformation Programmes
Project Execution

Change Adoption
Diagnose → design → deliver → review. The review is where most programmes quietly stop, and where ours is contracted to continue.

03 — The engagement

Engagement terms

Three entry points into the same system. The commercial shape follows the problem — not the other way round.

choose the shape — not the service
01
Training
Capability built in the room, applied in real work. Delivered in-house or public, HRD Corp claimable where applicable.
Basis
Per programme
Horizon
1–3 days, plus review
Best when
The standard is known; the skill isn’t there yet.
02
Advisory
A long-term retainer. We stay through the review cycles — the correction is in scope, not a hope.
Basis
Monthly retainer
Horizon
Six months and up
Best when
The leadership team needs a counterpart, not a report.
03
Consultancy
A scoped project, one-off: a defined outcome, a named owner, and an exit that everyone agreed to up front.
Basis
Fixed scope
Horizon
Project duration
Best when
The gap is bounded and the deadline is real.
Engagements often begin as one shape and move to another — a scoped project that becomes a retainer, or a programme that exposes an alignment problem worth advising on. We say so when that happens.

About

Built by a practitioner, not a panel

we have carried the number too
01

Our story

Axsara was founded on a pattern seen too many times from the inside: organisations do not usually lack strategy, talent or intent. They lack the connection between them. The plan is sound, the people are capable, and the operating rhythm still runs on last year’s habits.

So we built one practice instead of three — capability, transformation and performance treated as a single system, entered wherever the diagnosis says to enter, and reviewed on a contracted cadence rather than at the goodwill of a busy quarter.

02

The name and the mark

from alphabet to knowledge

Axsara is derived from the Sanskrit word akshara — “alphabet”: the most fundamental form, yet the one everything else is built from. Letters become words that carry meaning, words become sentences that carry interpretation, and sentences weave together into the stories that carry knowledge. We believe in learning and adapting continuously, so that capability stays strong at every level of an organisation and the business objectives behind it are actually met.

Interconnectedness
Each ribbon in the mark is one part of how we work: capability activation, business alignment, execution and transformation, performance optimisation.
Scalable and sustainable
Alphabets behave like building blocks: modular and scalable at once. We work to a viable first version against the resources allocated; refinement follows.
Axsara wordmark: four interwoven ribbons, a red X, and a .co drawn as an infinity sign
Integrated Capability & Performance System
Unique proposition
The bright red “X” is the element that stands out — a deliberate contrast in a crowded advisory ecosystem.
Continuous improvement
The “.co” in the wordmark is drawn to mimic an infinity sign. Change is the only constant, so the practice keeps adapting to the business landscape it serves.
03

Why Axsara

Integrated Capability Framework
Organisational capability is never a standalone issue. Capability, alignment, execution and performance are treated as one system.
Corporate Practitioner
Derived from practical, real-world corporate experience rather than theoretical knowledge.
Business-first Approach
Solutions designed around measurable business outcomes, not generic training content.
Measurable Outcomes
Work is scoped to specific, measurable outcomes, so effectiveness and return on investment can be assessed.
Post-Training Reinforcement
Capability should not dissipate along with the euphoria experienced after training.
Industry Insight
We stay vigilant in the business landscape to circumvent potential pitfalls, and work with you to sustain a competitive advantage in an ever-evolving market.

Corporate journey

A trilingual senior corporate practitioner with over 20 years in Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies, specialising in sales execution, technical commercial leadership and business transformation in complex B2B environments. P&L accountability up to MYR 100 million annually, spanning Malaysia and nine Southeast Asian markets — with multinational principals, regional headquarters, government-linked entities and large institutional clients.

Retrofit Sales
Solution selling, engineering coordination
Key Account Management
Multi-site, multi-stakeholder governance

Our philosophy

01
Diagnose before prescribing.
No programme is sold before the constraint is named. Sometimes the answer is not training.
02
Design for real application.
Every session ends with something that changes in the next operating week, owned by a named person.
03
Managers carry the change.
If the line manager is not equipped to reinforce it, the behaviour will not survive the quarter.
04
Review is part of the scope.
Correction is scheduled, not hoped for. We contract for the review, not just the delivery.

What changed, and by how much

the record — not the promise

Every result on this page is a personal achievement of our founder, Ts. Jonathan Chu, delivered in line roles across two decades of corporate practice — not an aggregate of client engagements. Hover any card for the detail behind the number.

01

Commercial Growth

Revenue Growth
Double-digit YoY delivered through a contracting market.
Case study: 341% YoY growth at peak, then double-digit YoY sales order growth for two consecutive years through the pandemic — contractual metrics returned to pre-pandemic levels.
Market Expansion
Coverage extended across nine Southeast Asian markets.
Displacing an incumbent on their own turf: client share of wallet up 25%, market share up 8%, pivotal projects secured under a first-right-of-refusal agreement.
Business Development
Hit rates improved by qualification, not by more activity.
Hit rate lifted from 8–10% to 13–20%, pipeline up 55%, market coverage up 15%, and time to market cut from 14 days to under 5.
02

Business Transformation

Operational Improvement
Branch turnaround: performance restored, teams stabilised.
Reward system revamped: sales order up 15% and contract value up 10%, for 1.2% and 0.06% more incentive payout. Best-in-decade net churn of −0.29%, from −8.30%.
Cross-functional Alignment
Pre-bid alignment across sales, engineering, legal, operations.
Functions realigned into project execution, operations, production and technical, branch and key-account support — HQ and branches working to harmonised processes.
Transformation Projects
Workflow digitisation cut a 200.5-hour cycle to 2.5 hours.
Workflow digitisation cut a 200.5-hour cycle to 2.5 hours; cost estimating 61.25h to 0.5h; project duration 24.5h to 0.25h.
03

Capability Development

Leadership
Managers equipped to reinforce, review and correct.
A three-part leadership frame — own the P&L and the long-range plan, run the monthly forecast and execution review, coach and support the team — used to rebuild competency and instil accountability.
Sales Capability
Pipeline discipline that survives the quarter it was taught in.
Market coverage up 15%, hit rate 13–20% (from 8–10%), pipeline up 55%, order mix balanced at roughly 53/47 volume to major projects, time to market under 5 days.
Team Performance
Hurdles removed; customer experience raised at the same time.
High-performing team framework: clarity, priority alignment, accountability, boundaries, ground rules, team dynamics and collaborative spirit — morale recovered and attrition stabilised.
04

Energy Performance

Energy Optimisation
Consumption managed against a measured baseline.
Building Performance
Retrofit business doubled through solution selling.
Sustainability Outcomes
Reporting that stands up to the regulator and the board.
